Wendy Williams will not be hosting the 13th season premiere.
Monday will mark the 13th season of “Wendy Williams Show”, which will feature “Hot Talk” panelists Devyn Simone and Bevy Smith. Elizabeth Wagmeister and Michael Yo also join the show.
Leah Remini, the show’s guest host, will continue to be featured for the rest of the week.
After Wendy Williams was diagnosed with COVID-19, the start of the 13th season of the show was delayed. Instagram says Williams tested negative for COVID-19 but that she is still battling other health problems.
“She is making progress but is experiencing serious complications as a direct result of Graves’ Disease and her thyroid condition,” a statement on the show’s Instagram account said.
Williams is under medical supervision and meets with her medical team every day, according to the post.
“She will be back in her purple treasured chair as soon she’s ready,” the post reads.
