Dustin Hopkins spared no effort to hand over the dramatic victory to Washington
Landover, Maryland – On Thursday night, Washington beat the New York Giants 30-29, and Dustin Hopkins scored a 43-yard field goal with zero clock.
Dexter Lawrence was not onside first, and the yellow scarf fell. Hopkins seized the opportunity to win a dramatic victory over Washington (1-1).
Hopkins missed the first attempt, but a violation allowed him to try again.
This time, Hopkins threw 336 yards and scored two touchdowns. Washington was not happy with the consignment that was intercepted. Graham Gano converted Graham Gano’s fifth field goal to give Giants a 29-29 lead in the final 2:00 minutes.
