Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens have announced that they now offer Moderna COVID-19 booster injections.
Walgreens and Walmart carry the Johnson & Johnson booster shot.
All three retailers continue to offer boosters of Pfizer vaccine.
On Thursday, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), approved boosters from Moderna & Johnson. The booster shot for Pfizer had been approved by the CDC before.
The CDC also allowed mixing and matching of booster vaccinations.
Individuals 65 and older, people at high risk for severe diseases, or workers in high-risk environments are eligible to receive Moderna or Pfizer boosters.
Johnson & Johnson boosters can be obtained by people who are at least 18 and have had their first shot at the Johnson & Johnson facility at least two months before.
