The driveway at Bolling Road in Portsmouth is littered with non lethal baton shells, which was the scene for a horrific and bizarre murder-suicide Friday night.
A neighbor said that he bought the house from Alabama sight unseen, moved in Thursday and called a realtor Friday to return it.” Scripps station WTKR reported the story.
According to Portsmouth policeIt happened at 5:59 PM Friday at a Bowling Road residence.
Officers arrived at the scene to find Albert A. Baglione, 84, armed with a weapon.
Baglione claimed that he had murdered his realtor and then shut his door. Police say they heard a gunshot coming from behind the door.
Baglione, according to the neighbor had just moved into the home. Soren Arn Oelschlegel, an agent in real estate, went to the house to assist the man who was unhappy with the purchase of his home.
Before SWAT arrived, authorities secured a perimeter around Baglione’s home and declared him dead.
Police also found 41-year old Soren Arn Oelshlegel, a Norfolk-based real estate agent, in the house with a fatal gunshot injury.
“He called his son after shooting the real estate agent,” stated the neighbor.
“The Hampton Roads LGBTQ community has lost a bright person [who’s]Rudy Almanzor stated that it was difficult to replace.
Almanzor is President of Hampton Roads Pride. Arn-Oelschlegel has been an active volunteer in the LGBTQ community for more than a ten years.
“He was full of energy. I have never seen him smile, laugh, or want to have fun. Almanzor said that he worked hard and played hard.
Almanzor was shocked by the news, and confused about why or how this could have occurred.
“I read it four to five more times before I realized that it was not clear,” he stated. “We are here for the community to grow, but one of our building blocks is missing.”
Hampton Roads Pride plans a memorial service this week in honor of Arn-Oelschlegel.
