The United States announced that it would open its land borders next month to allow for non-essential travel. Families and business owners who had been suffering from COVID-19 restrictions were happy to see the United States end the 19-month-old freeze.
Workers who hold essential jobs can only travel across borderlands from Canada or Mexico.
The new regulations will allow foreigners who have been fully vaccinated to enter the United States starting in November. Similar restrictions on air travel will be relaxed, regardless of the reason. Even simple travelers who want to enter the United States (e.g. truck drivers) will need to be fully immunized by mid-January.

After announcing last month, the United States would no longer ban air travel. Instead, it will require that foreign citizens who want to travel by plane be vaccinated.
