During his speech at Astroworld Houston, the rapper injured many others and killed eight people.
Houston-At least 8 people died on Friday at the Houston Music Festival. Many more were injured after a crowd pushed onto the stage. Officials from the city announced Saturday afternoon that Astroworld Music Festival had been cancelled following a performance by Travis Scott.
Scott posted a Twitter statement saying that he had given his full support to the Houston Police Department in its investigation into the death. He posted: “I pray to these families and for all those affected” by the Astroworld Festival incident. “I will work with the Houston community to heal families and provide support for them.”
Chief Penha stated that 23 patients were transferred by emergency services to nearby hospitals. He also said that 11 of these patients suffered from cardiac arrest. Penha stated that the “portable hospital” on-site was treating more than 300 patients.
Travis Scott, an American rapper and singer who is thirty years old, hails from Houston. His 2018 album, “Astroworld”, is his most well-known work. This is where the name of the festival comes from. He is a well-known artist who has worked previously with Young Thug and Drake. He and Kylie Jenner have one son and are currently expecting another.
Scott created Astroworld in 2018 on the site that Six Flags Astroworld Houston. It was cancelled in 2020 because of the covid-19 pandemic.
Scott grew up in Houston, Texas. It was the home of Six Flags Space World. Scott named his third album “The Park”.
