Mike Santillánez participated in “Ride Chupacabras 2021” on the occasion of its 25th anniversary
It took almost two full years for mountain bikes to roll over the rugged terrain of the Sierra de Juárez in Chupacabra. Yesterday’s race ended in two hours, four minutes. Laura Prado, Don Victor’s first female runner, was the first to cross over the finish line in the women’s category. She covered 50 km in just three hours and five mins. Cecilia Gallegos, Andrea Reyes, and Cecilia Gallegos, from Centouno won the second place and third with 3:20 respectively.
Prado stated, “This route can be really difficult and heavy, but if your focus is on your training, your diet, and all that stuff, then yes, we can all do it.”
