Mexico City- Timothée Chalamet showed his upcoming movie “Wonka” for the first time, in which he will play the role of a chocolate maker made by Warner Bros.
On social networks, the actor shared photos of Willie Wonka, including the words “The suspense was terrible, it will continue”, in reference to the character from the original 1971 adaptation.
The film, which stars the actor at 25 years old, will be directed by Paul King. It will tell stories about the chocolate maker and his journey to opening the chocolate factory. It is expected that it will premiere in spring 2023.
Roald Dahl wrote Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in 1964. It is important to remember that Willie Wonka was invented by Dahl. Charlie Buckett, a poor boy, wins a gold ticket to go to a chocolate factory.
