angel- According to Agence France-Presse, this Friday, many media reported that Irish mixed martial arts star Conor McGregor will face American Dustin Poirier for the third time. The defender defeated him in a game organized by the UFC on July 10th in January.
According to ESPN reports, Poirier, 31, has signed a combat contract, while the 32-year-old Irishman has signed a combat contract in the previous few weeks.
Returning to the Octagon a year later, McGregor was eliminated by Poirier in the second round in Abu Dhabi on January 23. The Irishman immediately stated that he wanted to fight a third time.
In the first part of the trilogy, McGregor defeated Poirier in the first knockout round in 2014.
According to ESPN’s report, the venue for the third batch of matches has not yet been determined and is expected to become one of the most profitable matches in UFC history. This game will be played in a lightweight five-round format.
McGregor (22 wins and 5 losses) will seek his first victory since January 2020, while Prier (27 wins and 6 losses) hopes to extend his winning streak to three consecutive games.
