Juarez Football Club will participate in the five categories of the 2021 Mazatlan Cup competition to be held in early May. According to its general coordinator, Ernesto Cervantes Quintana, this will be the school’s first participation in Fut 7 mode activities.
Cervantes said on the “Central Football” field: “We will go to Mazatlan in Sinaloa from May 5th to 9th. This is an international game from Colombia, the United States, Canada and the entire Mexican Republic. All of the teams will participate. They are located behind New Central in Avenida Tecnológico.
The feline academy teams will represent the borders and states in the Mazatlán competition, and their age range is 4 to 17.
Cervantes said: “We put five categories together, and each teacher is responsible for a small number of players.”
The general coordinator added that they have more than 150 children and young people training in these areas on Monday and Wednesday afternoons, where they learn to play football and their athletic skills have been perfected.
They will participate in the Mazatlan Cup with 12 players in each category, so 70 to 80 players and coaches will travel to the port of Sinaloa.
Cervantes Quintana said: “At present, we will enter the No. 7 final, but we intend to have a future match in Monterrey. The match will be held in August and it will be the No. 11 football match. All Tigris The official academy will face this competition.”
“The school in Juarez has a history of more than eight years. The new government did not take office until August last year. I was the general coordinator. All our teachers are graduates of UACJ, UACH and ENDIT.”
Cervantes pointed out that for Juárez Tigres Academy, this competition will not only be a new experience for children, but will also help them gain attention.
