“Bluetooth restriction” does not allow the use of the controller’s tactile feedback and audio connections from its speakers, built-in microphone and headphone jack.
Madrid (Portaltic / EP). -PlayStation announced that the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller can now be used with the Remote Play app to play on Apple devices via Bluetooth, although certain features (such as haptic feedback or built-in microphone) are not available.
According to the PlayStation support page, devices that support the new features are devices that can be used with macOS Big Sur 11.3, iPadOS 14.5, iOS 14.5, and tvOS 14.5 or later.
With new compatibility, the PS5 DualSense controller can be used to control games and applications on Apple devices via a Bluetooth connection. In addition, the PS Remote Play application allows you to stream console games to iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or Apple TV devices and play them remotely.
However, the company pointed out that “the limitations of Bluetooth” do not allow the use of the controller’s tactile feedback and audio connections with its speakers, integrated microphone and headphone jack.
