The Attaché of the US Department of Homeland Security pointed out that global fashion is not the time to shop.
Ciudad Juarez- United States Department of Homeland Security Commissioner Edgar Ramírez confirmed this morning that the United States and Mexico have agreed to extend the Border Restriction Agreement again, this time at least until May 21.
“The global pandemic is not a time to go shopping, take a walk or visit relatives across borders. Moreover, illegal immigration is the worst decision in the current pandemic and deadly high temperature era! Stay at home and stay safe,” a US official said.
Ramirez explained in a press release issued by the US Consulate in Ciudad Juarez that to further limit the spread of the coronavirus, the Latin American government will continue to restrict non-essential travel across our common border.
“Mexican and American citizens should avoid transit unless the purpose is deemed essential. For more information on what constitutes basic travel, please visit social media or the CBP (Customs and Border Protection) website.
