Mexico City-Álvaro Morte, known for playing the “professor” in La Casa de Papel, will be the protagonist of Sin Límites, an Amazon Prime video series about the first expedition around the world.
Rodirgo Santoro (Westworld) will also be another star directed by Simon West (Simon West) (Lara Croft: Tom Reid).
This series of four episodes will tell about the ferry of the first expedition, which successfully completed the fifth centennial commemoration of traveling around the world.
On August 20, 1519, the Portuguese Fernando Magalanes (Santoro) set sail from the port of Cadiz, Spain, with a crew of 239. Three years later, only 18 of them returned to the only ship to complete the mission, which was captained by Spaniard Juan Sebastian Elcano (Morte).
The show will be held in Spain and the Dominican Republic on Monday, April 26.
Filming started in Azkoitia, Azkorri, Lazkao, Olite, and Cathedral of Pamplona in the Basque Country and Navarra, and then moved to the Dominican Republic, where the maritime footage was filmed-famous Pinewood Studios, and Spain, especially Seville and Madrid.
