NS. PAUL (Minn.) – Police say that a gunfight broke out in a St. Paul bar, killing a woman, and injuring 14 more.
The shooting took place shortly after midnight at Seventh Street Truck Park bar. Police preliminary data indicates that multiple people fired shots.
It is unclear what caused the shooting.
Three men have been arrested by police and are being treated at a hospital after suffering injuries from the shooting.
In a statement TwitterPolice identified the suspects as Terry Lorenzo Brown Jr., 33 Devondre Phillips, 29 and Jeffrey Orlando Hoffman 32.
Steve Linders, a police spokesperson said, “We have an extremely busy bar. A lot people are just having fun and then there were a few people that decided to pull their guns and pull trigger haphazardly without any regard for human life.” Against the police Associated Press.
The Seventh Street Truck bar can be found in an entertainment area, just south from the Xcel Energy Center. It is here that the NHL’s Minnesota Wild plays.
According to the Star Tribune, this woman is in her twenties and was killed in 32 murders in the city so far this year.
According to the AP, all other victims will survive according to police.
