Jon Gruden has resigned as the coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. according to multiple reports.
The Las Vegas Review-JournalAccording to the report, Gruden informed Raiders owner Mark Davis, as well as his players and staff, that he was resigning.
Gruden resigned hours later The New York TimesA report by Gruden claiming that he had made homophobic or misogynistic remarks in the past was published.
The Raiders are only NFL team to have an openly homosexual player. Carl Nassib came out before the season began.
Gruden had previously apologized to Gruden for using a racist trope within an email, first reported by The Wall Street Journal.
