The comedy produced by Netflix is set in the 90s and will have 10 episodes
According to the “Hollywood Report”, Netflix is producing a “derivative” of the Fox comedy “That 70s Show”.
The show’s new title is “That 90s Show”, and it is hosted by Bonwnie Turner (Bonwnie Wayne) and Terry Turner (“Bonwnie Wayne”)
According to the website, Kurtwood Smith has been cast along with Debra Chorup. Remember that they gave the life to Red And Kitty Forman, who were married in the original show. These characters now have a teenager granddaughter who will spend the summer at Point Place, a fictional community where “That 70s Show”, is also staged.
Only Kurtwood Smith and Debra (Kitty Forman), were confirmed by the original actors. However the production party does allow for the possibility of other actors returning with special participation.
Topher Grace (EricForman), Laura Prepen(Donna Pinjoty), Mila Kuise (Jackie Burkhart), Danny Ma Stetson, Steven Hyde), Wilmer Vallderrama (Fez), Ashton Kutcher and Michael Kelso are among the cast.
“Hello Wisconsin! It was 1995. Eric and Donna Forman’s daughter Leia Forman visited her grandparents (Red & Kitty) during summer vacation. She and the new generation Point Place children watched Red closely under Kitty’s gaze. Next. drugs and rock music won’t die, they just changed clothes,” a detailed official profile.
The first episode of “That ’70s show” aired in 1998. It aired eight seasons and 200 episodes. This show is about a group of friends living in Wisconsin who have one purpose: to have fun.
Netflix has approved ten episodes for the series. Another report indicated that some of the original cast members were not willing to be part of the new series. It is possible that some of them may eventually be integrated into traditional roles, such as Michael Kelso’s Ashton Kutcher.
Fox tried to expand his franchise by creating an 80s show in 2002. This was a far cry of the success of his predecessor. The 13-episode season was short lived and it received very poor reviews. Netflix could avoid a similar fate.
