Police in London are investigating the murder of a 28-year-old schoolteacher, probably by a stranger, while she was walking to meet a friend.
According to the Associated Press, the Metropolitan Police said Sabina Nessa was murdered in Kidbrooke on Sept. 17 while walking through a park to a local pub to meet a friend.
The Associated Press reported that Nessa’s body was discovered in the park by a public member almost 24 hours after it had been murdered.
According to the AP, police did make an arrest for a man in his 40s under suspicion of murder. However, he was released pending further investigation.
The AP reported Monday that autopsies were not conclusive.
