According to First Hand, Pablo Montero’s participation in the show was cancelled by businessmen and event organizers. These videos had spread quickly following the release Excelsior.
Mariana Gutierrez (singer representative) and Gustavo Adolfo Infante (singer representative) replied that Montero appeared just like any other activity in which he was just hired to do so.
“Mr. Montero is and has always had a sole interest in representing Mexican ranch music throughout the world, and people love it,” he said.
