ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say a shootout at a busy bar in St. Paul, Minnesota, has left one woman dead and 14 other people wounded.
Just after midnight, the shooting took place at the Seventh Street Truck Park Bar. According to police, preliminary information suggests that several gunmen fired shots.
The reason for the shootout is still unknown.
Police have arrested three men, who are being treated at the hospital for injuries sustained in the shooting.
In a statement TwitterThe suspects were identified by police as Terry Lorenzo Brown Jr. 33 Devondre Trevon Philipps, 29, and Jeffrey Orlando Hoffman 32.
“We have a very busy bar, a lot of people just enjoying themselves and then we had a few individuals who decided to pull out guns and pull the trigger indiscriminately, with no regard for human life,” said police spokesman Steve Linders to the Associated Press.
The Seventh Street Truck Bar is located in an entertainment area just south of Xcel Energy Center where the NHL’s Minnesota Wild play.
According to The Star Tribune, the victim was a woman in her 20s who was killed in the 32nd homicide in the city this year.
According to the AP, all victims of the accident are expected to survive.
