Mexico City (apro). – Chivas Guadalajara has officially announced Oribe Peralta’s departure for two years. The player scored two goals against rojiblancos in 37 matches.
Chivas said goodbye to the “Cepillo”, a Mexican football legend, and praised the professionalism of the 37 year-old player. According to the club, Oribe Peralta has resigned from San Rebano after two and a quarter years of wearing Chivas shirts.
Finally, the club made clear that Chivas will remain open to Lagooners. “Oribe is currently deciding his next professional challenge and realizing that, if he chooses, Chivas will be open to him in the future.”
Oribe joined Chivas in 2019 but never played in the first team. He wore a flock jacket for 37 games during the two-and-a-half years he was there. Peralta scored only two goals and provided 3 assists.
Although the former national team player has said that he won’t retire from professional football, his fate is still unknown. However, everything seems to indicate that his hometown, Torreon, is already waiting for “Sepillo” to return.
