The social network released a report of untrue behavior in March 2021. Mexico has five account networks and has more participation than other months.

Unreal behavioral networks can cause fake accounts to collaborate with real accounts, and can create false publicity campaigns or publicity topics in digital conversations, thus violating Facebook community rules and leading to their elimination.

According to the company’s latest report, as of March 2021, Mexico had 5 of the 14 types of networks identified by Facebook, which were later eliminated.

These networks are concentrated in various regions of the Republic of Mexico, such as the state of Quintana Roo (Quintana Roo), which has cancelled 71 accounts, 18 pages and 7 Instagram accounts, which are dedicated to strengthening conversations around local events of the entity .
