This wearable was launched by those from Cupertino during 2015 and with various updates throughout these years it has managed to position itself as a leader in the sector.
Apple has updated its list of obsolete and old products. This Thursday’s update includes the first appearance of the original Apple Watch. It was also included in the list are the 13-inch MacBook Pros Retina and the 15-inch MacBook Pros Retina.
It is reasonable to recall the process Apple uses to select products for inclusion on this list.
The technology company defines vintage products as those it has stopped selling for longer than five years or less than seven years. The term “obsolete” refers to gadgets that were not available for sale seven years ago or longer.
Apple did not consider older products for factory repairs, or those done by authorized service providers. This policy has been changed as repairs are now subject to availability of refractions.
This announcement comes at a time when Apple Watch has been a leading brand in the industry.
