A vaccination certificate, evidence that a covid-19 diagnosis has been made previously, or an exemption certificate from immunization will be required to gain access to the spaces if legislation is passed.
People who don’t have these records will be allowed to continue visiting locations that have been tested negative for covid-19PCR. However, this bill will only allow them to do so until February 1, 2022. To be allowed to enter public places like bars and restaurants, people must prove that they have been vaccinated or that they have recovered from the virus.
Second government bill to the Duma proposes using QR codes for passengers travelling on domestic and international planes and trains. This new requirement could also be in effect as of February 1, 2022, according to Tatiana Golikova (Deputy Prime Minister), in a statement that was posted on the Meduza news portal.
The government said in a statement on preparing these measures: “Due to the difficult situation of the coronavirus, the proposed solution is an emergency measure,” and the statement will continue until June 1, 2022.
