Michael Cohen, the ex-personal attorney of Donald Trump, was released from prison on Monday.
Cohen was sentenced for three years in prison after pleading guilty at several charges, including lying to Congress and campaign finance crime.
Cohen stated that his release did not negate the actions he took under the direction and for the benefit Donald Trump.
The Associated PressAccording to reports, Cohen was in prison for 13 1/2 months and home confinement for a year. Cohen was sentenced to a reduced sentence for good behaviour.
Stormy Daniels was paid to cover up her claims that she had an affair with Trump. The accusation was denied by the ex-president.
Cohen is the only one to be charged for crimes related to the payments. He believes that others will be indicted as well.
Cohen spoke on Monday on CNN that while the wheels of justice may turn slowly, at the end they do come full circle.
