After an effective extradition search, and arrest, a Peruvian citizen was seized by the National Police. He had been brought to Spain.
Madrid. (European Media)-An agent from the national police detained a member belonging to the Luminous Road terrorist organisation, who was fleeing Peruvian authorities at Adolfo Suarez Madrid Barajas Airport.
The intervention was made after the national police discovered that a Peruvian citizen had been arrested and detained in Spain. Sources claim that the fugitive was refused entry to Ecuador. He was flying to Madrid, and landed at around noon. The airport agents set up a device to stop the plane from landing at the runway’s foot.
After the confirmation, the agents confirmed the identity of the fugitive as a Guanghui Road terrorist group member. The Comprehensive Information Committee was charged with counter-terrorism and they received the facts.
Yesterday, at the conclusion of the mandatory procedure, he was transferred to the Fourth Central Guidance Court, National Court.
Spain’s last arrest of members of the “Luminous Path”, a terrorist group that murdered thousands in Peru between the 1980s and the 21st Century, was made in Alcorcon, Madrid, in 2019.
The Peruvian authorities executed a June operation to locate and arrest a woman suspected of involvement in an incident in Peruvian Capital that resulted in the deaths of 7 people in 1999.
