Los Toros de Tijuana defeated Mariachis de Guadalajara to win the LMB Northern Division; starting from Monday, they will play against the Yucatan Lions in the Kings Series.
Mexico City (proces.com.mx). The Tijuana Bulls beat the Guadalajara Rangers 5-4. They were crowned LMB North Division champions in six games. On Monday, the Yucatan Lions will begin to weigh in in the Kings Series.
Friday night saw the Mexican Rangers become the best team of the LMB in the regular year at the Pan American Stadium. The Bulls were just one step away from eliminating them. There is no tomorrow’s locals. The last series of poor bases does not exclude them.
With a score of 4-3 Tijuana was ranked ninth. Former major league player Fernando Rodney silenced the crowd on the hill.
Rodney, the wealthy successor to Toros’s success, begins to walk irregularly to Anthony Garcia.
Riojeras made a double-play in the grass on his left. When Garcia seemed to stop in third place, he returned home, where Tijuana catcher Xorge Carrillo was waiting for the cutter Isaac Rodríguez and Sandwiched between runner-up and home base.
Ampayer Jesús López marked out. The show was reviewed by the wandering band, who requested it.
Christian Ibarra scored a double to the right. This moved the card up to 5-4 in Leo Heras and magnified the poor performance at the base.
Carlos Mendívil walked in first and second place, and Rodney put out the fire when he forced Beau Amaral to roll to second place to save the double play.
The Kings Series will open at Chevron Stadium Tijuana. There will be the first and second game. Tuesday will be a rest and the game will resume on Wednesday at the Kukulkan Stadion in Merida. The 3rd and 4th rounds will be played. 5 games may be necessary.
Casa de los Toros will host both the 6th and 7th game if they are played.
