La Vecchia Signora wakes up in the Champions League after three games without knowing a Serie A victory
Mexico City- Juventus defeated Malmo 3-0, opening their way to the Champions League.
Alex Sandro, Paulo Dybala and Álvaro Morata were responsible for shaping the scoreboard in Sweden.
La Liga’s Vecchia Sinora did not start the season smoothly, where they failed to win three games, but in the Champions League game, they seized the opportunity to take a breath.
Dybala changed the score to 2-0 at the 45-minute penalty spot. Even though Dybala fell while shooting, his ball flew to the centre line and touched the net. It was close to Ismail Diawara, goalkeeper.
Alex Sandro scored his first goal with a header in the 23rd minute after Juan Guillermo Cuadrado had crossed.
Morata noticed that the defense was making mistakes in the first quarter, which allowed the team’s to settle down during the break.
Juventus held their advantage on pitch in the second half. Malmo realized they were being dominated and closed the gap to prevent them scoring any more goals.
Juventus now leads Group H. This is the same three pointer as Chelsea’s win over Zenit of 1-0. But the scoring gap is even larger.
Moises Kean was happy to score his fourth goal. However, when he looked at the linesman, his smile vanished because he had scored a correct dislocation.
Juventus and Chelsea will meet in Turin the next day on September 29.
