A house committee The investigation into the January 6 attack on the United States Capitol has subpoenaed four advisers and aides to former President Donald Trump.
White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and former White House deputy chief-of-staff for communications Dan Scavino were subpoenaed. Former Defense Department official Kashyap Paltel and Stephen Bannon, a former Trump adviser, were also subpoenaed.
The commission claims that the four men spoke with senior government officials, including Trump, about the rally on January 6th and the election.
