Philadelphia breaks a three-game losing streak
Charlotte, North CarolinaIn the second half, Jalen Hurts ran for two touchdowns consecutively. To end their three-game losing streak, the Philadelphia Eagles came back from 12 points down and defeated the Carolina Panthers 21-18.
For Carolina, Sam Danold was intercepted by Darius Slay 3 times, twice by Darius Slay, and was fired 3 times because of the Panthers’ offense. The Eagles’ defense lost the first two games by 83 points and 851 yard against Carolina.
TJ Edwards was stopped by Carolina. Hurts scored with an 18-yard rush pass with 2 minutes left to give the Eagles their first lead.
Chuba Hubbard was the replacement for Christian McCaffrey, who suffered a broken leg and required 101 yards. He also had 24 offensive plays to play for the Carolinas.
After Danold tried to bring Carolina (3-2), back in the final 2 minutes and 30 minutes, he was pressured and passed and was intercepted and returned by Steven Nelson. Carolina lost at home because the Hawks had stopped at 88 yards during the first half.
