NEW PORT RICHEY, FLA. (WFTS) — There are haircuts, and then there’s the harder. It has been a part pop culture for many years.
Kayden Manning, nine year old from New Port Richey Florida, says it’s party in front, business in back for Kayden Manning.
Kayden, nine, stated that on Kayden’s first day at school, everyone said that they liked their haircuts. Kayden added that some of her friends also said the same thing. “Mullet is not a common feature in my school.”
Kayden received the idea for the neck warmer from Chris, his stepfather. He is currently in a mullet chat with some of his friends.
Chris Brotherton said, “We hear nice louder and sweeter, whether it’s at the beach or at the ballpark, whatever, everyone loves to be louder.”
Kayden’s family didn’t think their Tennessee-born son’s top-hat would make him famous, until they found the website. mulletchamp.com.
“And I said, ‘Wow, those are some pretty good mullets, I want mine to be like that,’” Kayden said.
Kayden was the top 25 child’s category entry with his American Flag look. There were 500 total entries. The public can vote for the winner now. The first prize winner will be awarded $2,500.
Brotherton stated, “He’s such sweet boy that I said, “I’ll give it to you some,” and I replied, “No, that’s your haircut, that’s your harder, it goes straight to your bank account,”.”
It’s not all glamour and glitz to be a champion male.
Kayden stated, “Sometimes my head sticks to my neck,” Kayden added.
What does mom think?
Brittany Hundertmark said, “They tried both to convince me to chop my hair in a long mullet. But I like them.”
Kayden claimed that he will rock the mullet all his life.
