AURORA, Colo. — Authorities in Colorado said five teens ranging from 14 to 17 years old were taken to a nearby hospital following a shooting at a park near a high school in Aurora on Monday.
Nome Park is located north of Aurora Central High school.
The school is currently in a “secured perimeter” status and police said that no shots were fired.
It is unknown at the moment what the condition of the victims is.
Police claimed that an unidentified suspect left the scene within minutes of the shooting.
There have been no arrests.
