The FBI has announced that the US District Court of Wyoming has issued a federal arrest warrant for Brian Laundrie.
Laundrie is accused of illegally using a bank card between September 30th and September 1st.
The charges make no mention of his fiancée, 22-year-old Gabby Petito. Her remains were found in Wyoming at a campground last weekend. Her death was ruled murder.
Laundromat was considered to be an interested party in the case.
Laundrie is being sought out by law enforcement officers in Florida’s 25,000-acre Carlton Reserve. He reportedly went hiking.
Petito disappeared last month after a long cross-country trip that the couple had taken.
After witnesses saw the couple fighting in a Moab convenience shop, police arrived on Aug. 12.
They did not arrest the couple and they were told to end the night.
Petito’s family claims they last spoke with her on August 25, 2010.
Petito was not present when Laundrie returned to Florida on September 1. She was reported missing on September 11.
