David Chappelle, comedian, is being criticized for his Netflix special “The Closer”.

Jacyln Moore was a writer and executive producer for “Dear White People” on Netflix. She said that she couldn’t work anymore for the company after the special premiered.
Moore, a transwoman, stated that she will not be working with them as long they profiteer from the spread of shameless and dangerously homophobic content.
Chappelle doesn’t shy away from controversy.
Chappelle received standing ovation while performing at an event held in Los Angeles.
He stated, “If that’s what the cancellation is all about, then I think it would be great.” Los Angeles Times.
Many people and organizations have urged Netflix to remove “The Closer.” But, the show is still available. Netflix has yet to respond to Chappelle’s comments.
