DALLAS (AP) — Authorities say eight people were injured, including four firefighters, in a Dallas apartment complex explosion.
Dallas Fire-Rescue reports that three firefighters sustained serious injuries, and one was discharged from the hospital after minor injuries.
Four civilians were also admitted to the hospital in stable condition.
Officials from fire department say firefighters were investigating a report about a natural gas leaking at the two-story structure in south Dallas.
They reported smelling gas right before the explosion that partially collapsed the building.
It is still unknown what caused the blast.
