DALLAS (AP) — Authorities say eight people were injured, including four firefighters, in an explosion at a Dallas apartment complex.
Dallas Fire-Rescue states that three firefighters sustained severe injuries while one was discharged following minor injuries.
Four civilians were also taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Firefighters say they were investigating a report that there was a natural gas leaking from the south Dallas building.
The firefighters had previously reported that they were smoking gas shortly before the explosion.
Investigators are still investigating the cause of the explosion.
