They won the victory and beat the Falcons 3-3
Arlington, Texas-Dark Prescott. The Dallas Cowboys made it clear last week that their loss was a fluke when the young quarterback touched down for the fourth goal. Score.
Prescott also threw touchdown passes. Eszkiel Elliott scored twice and Nachson Wright was able to recover when the Cowboys defeated the Falcons by 43-3. Blocked kick.
Atlanta lost yesterday with the touchdown being an exclamation point.
After last week’s defeat to Denver, which cost him six consecutive victories in the NFC Eastern Division, the leader of that division set the course.
Prescott said, “Last Week was not a true depiction of us,” after finishing his first shot. He had overflowed Mykal Wade, a linebacker, on the goal line, when he scored a 4-yard touchdown. That is something that everyone in the locker room knows. It leaves a bad taste. I believe it’s a bad taste we must get rid off and realize how difficult this sport is.”
The key to Cowboys is performing his attack.
Dallas (7-2), once again appears to be the NFL’s top offensive unit. Prescott and CeeDee lamb completed the first of their two touchdown passes. Elliott completed two offensive series. Both of them kept alive through the fourth quarter.
With 37 seconds remaining in half-time, Dustin Colquitt blocked Dorance Armstrong with his one arm. Wright then chased Colquitt to the end zone. Back. Back.
Here’s the sequence that brought about the fourth highest team scoring (29 points per quarter) and Dallas’ greatest halftime advantage (36-3) since 1971.
Atlanta (4-5) has twelve players on the court for extra points. So the Cowboys hope the Cowboys can convert two points from one-yard. Elliott again crossed the goal line.
The Falcons marched to the Dallas’ 20 yard line in four games. Matt Ryan was the only one who made a shot. Ryan did not go deep into the Cowboys field, two interceptions-including eighth NFL leader Trevor Diggs-and was pulled down before the end of the third quarter, Atlanta trailed 43-3.
Prescott completed 24 passes for 296 yards. He also scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Matt Ryan, Falcons quarterback, finished with 21.4 points. He completed 9 of 21 passes for 117 yards.
Lamb suffered a concussion from an incomplete pass in the first quarter. Lamb completed all of his 94 yard before the halfway break. Lamb is the third time Lamb has scored two touchdowns.
