Stagecoach and Coachella can still be attended by people who aren’t fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Concert-goers will now be able to show that they have passed a negative COVID-19 screening 72 hours before the event.
Coachella and Stagecoach previously required proof that they had received full vaccinations. However, it was decided to allow negative testing.
“After seeing firsthand the low transmission rates and successful implementations of safety protocols at our festivals, along with the rising vaccination rate for eligible Americans, we feel confident we can safely update and improve our policy,” Stagecoach and Coachella released a statement.
Coachella 2015 will take place in Indio, California from April 15-17 and 22-24. Stagecoach is set for April 29-May 1, at Empire Polo Field.
