Jacksonville hasn’t won since Week 1 of 2020
Cincinnati –The Cincinnati Bengals defeated Jacksonville by 24-21 last night to overcome a 14-point deficit. Jacksonville lost for the 19th time in succession.
Jacksonville (0-4) is without a win since the first week in 2020. James Robinson’s second touchdown at quarter’s end gave Jacksonville the lead. Joe Burrow and CJ Uzomah tied the game at 31 yards. He then completed the 25 yard game in less than a minute. Evan McPherson made a 35-yard field-goal.
The Jaguars lead 14-0 just before halftime. They almost tied the score at 21-0. Trevor Lawrence scored the winning touchdown less than one minute before the end the fourth quarter. With two touchdowns in quarter three, the Bengals (3-1) tied it.
After scoring seven goals in each of the previous three games, Lawrence was not intercepted. He threw for 204 yard and rushed for 36 yard and a TD.
Burrow threw for 348 yard and two touchdowns. Both were passed to Uzomah who had 5 catches of 95 yards.
DJ Chark, the Jaguars’ wide receiver, was injured in the ankle by players who blocked his left leg during a run.
