He said “It’s fair”
Caitlyn Jenner (Caitlyn Jenner) is a former Olympic champion and reality TV personality who ran for governor of California. She said she opposed transgender girls competing with girls in school sports events.
Jenner became famous at the 1976 Olympic Games and debuted as a transgender woman in 2015. He told the TMZ reporter on Saturday: “It’s fair.”
“That’s why I oppose the participation of transgender boys in the women’s team. This is unfair. In a brief interview in the Malibu parking lot, Jenner said that we must protect the girls’ movement in schools.
This is the first time he has talked about this issue since Jenner succeeded Gavin Newsom, the governor who is undergoing a referendum to remove him. Five states have implemented laws this year that restrict the ability of trans young people to participate in sports or receive certain medical treatments, which has triggered strong complaints from transgender rights advocates.
Republican Jenner supported Donald Trump in the 2016 election, but later criticized him for taking anti-transgender measures during his administration.
Many transgender activists criticized Jenner, saying that she is neither an effective representative of the transgender field nor an effective supporter of her cause.
