The judge said Jamie Spears’ suspension order will continue to be effective
On Wednesday, a judge suspended the custody of Britney Spears’ father, which controlled the singer’s life and money for 13 years.
The Los Angeles Superior Court judge Brenda Penny agreed with Spears’ lawyer Mathew Rosengart that James Spears must resign his position as guardian. In June and July, Spears told theater audiences that her dad needed to go. It was a significant victory.
James Spears applied to custody in 2008, and has always been its chief controller and greatest defender. She changed her mind and asked for execution.
Britney Spears, Rosengart and she agreed to end custody. Court documents also stated that James Spears’s removal was the first step.
