Gymnasts Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney and Maggie Nichols will testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.
The commission is examining the report of the Inspector General on FBI’s handling the Larry Nassar case.
Senator Diane Feinstein stated, “The FBI’s failure of to investigate Larry Nassar enabled him to attack at minimum 70 young women.” “No one should suffer the horrors these young women went through.”
The FBI failed to properly record prosecutors’ complaints which resulted in delays in the investigation.
Nassar was convicted of sexual abuse of dozens of girls and women over a period 20 years. He also served on the USA Gymnastics team as a doctor.
He was sentenced for more than 200 years in federal jail.
