BBVA is once more the subject of thousands of complaints regarding a problem so persistent that it only raises new doubts.
Hundreds of people reported on social networks that the BBVA application was failing during Monday’s afternoon. This situation quickly established the bank as the most popular trend in social networks.
Downdetector confirmed the information. This platform indicates that the failure of the BBVA app occurred around 3:30 PM (Mexico City Time) and that there were problems with the entire bank’s digital infrastructure.
According to the site, 54% are related to BBVA’s mobile banking. 34 percent relate to problems logging in to the app, 12 percent to general failings in online banking. .
These problems are recurring. The three previous similar events that frustrated BBVA users occurred on November 21, 19, and 13.
The problem isn’t minor and has left many users with a bitter taste in their mouths during a time when online transfers and other digital operations are the norm.
The problem is not limited to BBVA. Online banking has shown to have many gaps that urgently need to be addressed as soon as possible to make way for the so-called “digital transformation” that the banking sector is seeking.
BBVA has been the object of thousands upon thousands of complaints regarding a problem that is so consistent that it only makes people question this new channel for customer relations.
