Barbara Corcoran publicly apologised to Whoopi Goldberg regarding comments she made on The View.
“I made a joke at Whoopi’s expense, which I now realize wasn’t funny.” Corcoran said in a video posted on Twitter.“To anyone I may have offended, I want to apologize.”
Corcoran made the joke as he was discussing an “all inclusive” clothing company whose CEO will be on “Shark Tank.”
Goldberg stated that she was unsure if she could fit into the jeans of the company because she gained weight during pandemic.
Corcoran replied, “When your jeans are worn out and you decide you don’t like the fit of them any more, you can give them to us.” “I’m going to make two pairs.”
Whoopi wrote in response to Corcoran’s apology: “Barbara, We have been friends for a long time and I know your humor. I knew you were kidding.”
Corcoran called Goldberg a “class act”
