AT&T announced Wednesday that it’s increasing its mandate for COVID-19 vaccination to incorporate staff represented by the Communications Employees of America union.
The Associated Press reviews that the union represents roughly 90,000 AT&T staff.
AT&T already had a vaccine mandate for administration. It requires them to be absolutely vaccinated by October 11.
Union staff have till February 1, 2022 to completely vaccinate, “until they get an authorised job.”
Employees who refuse to obtain the vaccine earlier than Feb. 1 shall be given an unpaid 60-day “reconsideration” interval, The Related Press reviews.
