Logan Webb scored ten points in his spectacular playoff debut
San Francisco-Logan Webb scored ten points in his brilliant playoff debut. Los Angeles Dodgers batting was canceled by the San Francisco Giants on Friday night. It ended them 4-0.
With 107 victories, the Giants beat them this season.
Buster Posey made a two-point homer, which allowed the host to defeat the previous World Series champion. But, despite his second place finish in the Western Conference he had to take part in this week’s wild card game.
Weber claims that Posey helped him to improve his pitching.
Webber and Posey have successfully combined San Francisco’s season this year: the exceptional performance of the young right-hander with the support of the veteran receiver, who has been a shining light many times in October.
Weber stated, “Honestly, letting them there calms me down.”
Everybody knows that a long-running rivalry between two teams can add extra interest to a playoff series with up to five games. The Giants finished second and Dodgers third in the majors. Los Angeles’ team won 106 games, but the West lost eight pennants in succession before the division could be resolved.
Weber stated, “The energy is incredible today.”
So, the Dodgers had beat the Cardinals Wednesday before flying to the Bay Area. They were welcomed at Oracle Park by a hostile and noisy crowd.
This Saturday, the Dodgers will attempt to tie the series. They will send Julio Urias from Mexico to the mound. He has won 20 games so far this season. Kevin Gosman, an All-Star right-hander, will be facing them.
Brandon Crawford and Chris Bryant also hit home runs in support of Webber, as well as a pair rescuers’ five hits.
The Dodgers didn’t strike any Latinos.
Colombian Donovan Solano is 1-0 for the Giants. Venezuela Vermer Flores 4-0.
