Dallas, 9 years old, was the youngest victim of injuries sustained during a crowd wave in Houston’s Astroworld music festival.
According to Ben Crump, a family attorney, Ezra Blount, a Dallas resident, died Sunday at Texas Children’s Hospital Houston.
Blount was left in an artificially induced coma for several days after Travis Scott’s Houston concert on Nov. 5. Blount is now the tenth victim.
His family filed a lawsuit claiming that the child sustained serious brain and kidney damage after being “kicked and kicked and trampled, and almost crushed to death”.
The concert was attended by the boy, aged 9, and his father.
An investigation is underway into the deaths and injuries caused by a crowd of fans who came to the stage.
People described panic in the crowd as Travis Scott began to take the stage.
At least 13 people were admitted to hospital, and more than 300 were treated on the spot at a local hospital. Eighteen of the ten who died on the night were pronounced dead.
