Most of the praise received by the president during his first 100 days in the government was positive
Washington— President Biden’s first 100 days in office are coming to an end. A small number of Americans recognize his performance and support his main policy initiatives, but his approval rate is lower than that of Donald Trump. The Washington Post An investigation conducted by the newspaper and ABC News revealed that his government’s strategy will be warned in the future.
Overall, 52% of adults said they approve of the work Biden is doing, compared with 42% of adults disapproving. When the president took office four years ago, Trump’s rating was almost the opposite, with an approval rate of 42% and an opposition rate of 53%. Overall, 34% of Americans strongly agree with Biden’s performance, while 35% of Americans strongly disagree.
Biden scored the highest in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic, with 64% of adults, including 33% of Republicans, giving him a positive review. His approval rate for the economy is 52%. But 53% said they disagreed with his way of handling immigration at the US-Mexico border, a problem that plagued his government for most of the first few months.
The poll showed that Biden believed that there was a record difference between the parties before the 100-day anniversary, with 90% of Democrats approving of his performance, while only 13% of Republicans.
Although there are signs that the economy is improving, most Americans (58%) rate the economy negatively, while 42% rate it positively. Judging from the results of a similar survey conducted at the end of September, this has not changed statistically.
