The police force has begun to leave the Dashanjing area where the armed attack took place
Austin, Texas — Austin American politician reported that in the second update of the shooting, Austin Acting Police Chief Joe Chacon said that the authorities raised a fence on the fence of an apartment building where three people were shot and killed on Sunday, but the suspect is still at large.
Chacón said that those who live in houses and businesses can now leave, while those outside the house can now re-enter.
Chacón also confirmed that the suspect, 41-year-old Stephen Nicholas Broderick (Stephen Nicholas Broderick), was the former deputy of the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.
When Chacon said that the search for Broderick was now turned into a search for fugitives, the police force had already begun to leave the area of Dashan Pass, where the shooting took place.
However, Chakong urged the community to remain vigilant. He asked people who might know his whereabouts to avoid approaching him and call 911.
