PLANTERSVILLE (Texas) — Authorities say that a 3-year-old boy from Texas was found alive Saturday in a wooded area. He was reported to be in good health and had been missing for four days.
Christopher Ramirez was discovered following a tip by a citizen. He was being taken to the hospital for evaluation according to Grimes County Sheriff Don Sowell. After wandering off playing with his dog, the child was found in the backyard of his family’s house in southeastern Texas. It is not clear how he survived.
Sowell stated, “He’s drinking lots water, but that doesn’t make him sick.” He’s still alive and laughing, cutting up, crying. His mother is still crying. He is in great shape.”
Wednesday afternoon, the child went missing from his yard in Plantersville (about 60 miles (100km) northwest Houston). Sowell reported that he was found near the place where authorities had been searching.
Sowell explained, “Hardly had any clues to follow, we were running with prayers, four wheel drive, and overdrive, to be honest, because we had absolutely nothing else.” “We had no other options.”
