From the iconic 1984 commercial to the well-known Get a Mac-campaign. Many iconic Apple commercials have been created in the past. Although most of the commercials are old, Apple also has memorable ads from recent years.
We looked into the history of Apple and discovered quite a few unique commercials. Below is a list of the ten most memorable Apple commercials over the past ten decades.
The iPhone 4S was released in 2011. This improved version of the regular iPhone 4 had some interesting new ones features, including Siri. While the voice assistant has become an integral part Apple’s products, it was a major innovation in 2011. John Malkovich was the one who introduced Siri to the public. This simple yet powerful advertising campaign resulted.
With this ad, Apple actually won an Emmy Award. We see a boy who only uses his iPhone during Christmas. It’s not an iPhone commercial you might think, but it becomes apparent why he was on the phone during Christmas. He was creating a Christmas movie about his family. It was a bit sweet but it was good.
Emotion in advertisements works and so Apple is not averse to it. We were presented with another heartwarming Christmas advertisement in 2014. In this we see how a girl finds a record with a recording of her grandmother who Love is Here to Stay sings to her now deceased husband. The girl then adds her own vocals to her recording using her MacBook. It is a beautiful duet that moved her grandmother to tears Christmas morning.
Siri is so simple that anyone can use it, even Cookie Monster. This is what this 2016 advertisement shows. This advertisement from 2016 shows Siri helping Sesame Street’s character bake cookies. We also have the behind the scenesadded video because it’s so much fun.
Apple has regularly hired household names for its commercials over the years, but The Rock is without a doubt the biggest (literally and figuratively). This actor has been an extraordinary success and is constantly busy with new projects. How does he manage such a tight schedule? This ad claims Siri is the reason.
